The Submission Review page is the core workflow for code officials. It displays the full compliance profile for a submission organized by category and item, with AI verdicts and action buttons for each item. The header shows:
  • Project address and status badge
  • Jurisdiction, project type, round number, and submission date
  • Project info cards: occupancy group, construction type, stories, square footage (when available)

Action Bar

Controls at the top of the review:

The action bar also shows a running count of approved, flagged, and rejected items plus a progress indicator.

Progress Bar

A visual progress bar shows what percentage of compliance items have been reviewed.

Categories and Items

The compliance profile is organized into collapsible categories (e.g., “Fire Safety”, “Structural”, “Accessibility”). Each category shows how many items have been reviewed out of the total.

Compliance Items

Each item displays:
  • Title: The compliance requirement
  • Description: Detailed explanation of what is being checked
  • Code Reference: Section number, code text, and source link when available
  • AI Verdict: The system’s pre-screening assessment

Review Actions

For each item, you can take one of four actions:

You can add notes to any action explaining your reasoning or referencing specific code sections.

Completing a Review

When you click “Complete Review”:
  • If all items are approved, the submission status becomes Approved
  • If any items are rejected, the submission status becomes Rejected
  • If any items are flagged (and none rejected), the submission status becomes Needs Response
The architect is notified of the decision and can view your notes and action details.
